Seven Youtrust (formerly Yousign) alternatives worth a shortlist.

Youtrust, called Yousign until 2026, is a French e-signature and trust-services provider sold per licence, and its product stops at the signature. These are the Yousign alternatives teams move to when a signed contract has to do more than sit in an archive.

The short version.

  1. fynk if you want contracts and signatures up to QES in one European system, with an AI assistant that reads them.
  2. Skribble if you need qualified signatures under both eIDAS and Swiss ZertES from one account.
  3. DocuSign if you need every eIDAS level, a REST API and a signing flow your counterparties recognise.
  4. Dropbox Sign if you want unlimited signature requests at a simple per-sender price.
  5. Oneflow if you want contract management and signing in one EU-hosted subscription with native CRM integrations.

Still the right call if signing is the whole job and you want a French eIDAS trust service provider that also verifies identities and seals documents: Youtrust (formerly Yousign) itself. Here is when we say so.

More than 3,000 teams chose fynk to outgrow legal chaos.

Nobody switches because the signatures stopped working.

  1. The signature is where it stops.

Youtrust organises signed requests with labels and workspaces. There is no contract repository, no metadata extraction and no renewal tracking: its expiry date is a deadline for signing a request, not for renewing a contract.

  2. Qualified signatures are billed one by one.

QES is a paid add-on on Plus and Pro, from €10 per signature in annual packs and €15 singly on monthly billing. It is not available on Free or One, and advanced signatures with an ID check are a further annual add-on.

  3. The API is a second contract.

The web app plans do not include API access. The API is sold as separate plans priced by signature volume, and the price comes from sales.

  4. The extras gather on Pro.

Generating documents from Word templates needs the Forms add-on below Pro. SSO, SCIM and 10-year electronic archiving are paid add-ons on Pro, and bulk send is capped at 1 per month on Plus and 10 on Pro.

European teams that want contracts, AI and eIDAS signing (up to QES) in one system with transparent per-user pricing

Get a demo

This is our page, so read this section with that in mind. fynk is a contract platform with e-signature built in, not a signature tool with contract features bolted on. Every document is read on arrival, so parties, dates, values and notice periods come back as structured data.

Where it wins

  • Contract management and signing in one subscription
  • EU hosted by default, ISO 27001
  • SES, AES and QES on every plan
  • Self-serve setup, a free plan and a 14-day trial

Where it does not

  • Less brand recognition outside Europe
  • API and native HubSpot integration only from the Business plan
  • No notarisation and no SOC 2 report
  • Too much tool under five contracts a year
From €19 per user/month (annual)

02 Skribble

DACH teams that mainly need legally strong signatures, especially QES under Swiss and EU law

A Zurich-based e-signature provider that covers qualified signing under both EU and Swiss law from one account. Deliberately not a contract system: Skribble recommends pairing it with separate contract management.

Where it wins

  • SES, AES and QES under both eIDAS and Swiss ZertES
  • Swiss or German data centre, ISO 27001
  • Free pay-per-signature plan and a 14-day trial

Where it does not

  • Signature only: no templates, repository or approvals
  • AES and QES within an annual allowance per user, overage billed
  • API from Pro, Salesforce and SSO on the custom Scale plan
€36 per user/month

03 DocuSign

Organisations that mainly need high-volume e-signature with broad integrations and international legal acceptance

A widely used e-signature platform, with repository, AI and contract management sold as separate IAM plans. For a team leaving Youtrust that wants to stay with a signature specialist, it is the name enterprise counterparties already know, with a REST API on every eSignature plan.

Where it wins

  • Every eIDAS level, QES as an add-on from €10 per recipient
  • REST API on every eSignature plan
  • ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type II and a German interface

Where it does not

  • Envelope allowance per user per year, overage billed
  • Repository, extraction and renewals need a separate IAM plan
  • AES, the data residency guarantee and Salesforce or Dynamics only on sales-led Enhanced plans
€38 per user/month (Business Pro, annual)

04 Adobe Acrobat Sign

Organisations already standardised on Adobe Acrobat that need PDF-centric e-signatures and enterprise integrations.

The signature product inside the Adobe document ecosystem. If your documents already live in Acrobat and the people handling them already have licences, it is the path of least resistance.

Where it wins

  • Fits an existing Acrobat document stack
  • SES, AES and QES, SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001
  • Payments, bulk send and web forms from Acrobat Pro for teams

Where it does not

  • No contract management layer; CLM comes through partners
  • QES through third-party trust service providers
  • CRM integrations and advanced authentication in Sign Solutions, priced on request
$23.99 per user/month (Acrobat Pro for teams, annual)

05 Dropbox Sign

Small teams that mainly need to send PDFs for signature and already work in Dropbox, Google Drive or HubSpot

Dropbox’s e-signature product, formerly HelloSign. Signing stripped back to the essentials, and priced accordingly: a good answer when the job really is getting documents signed, especially for teams already working in Dropbox, Google Drive or HubSpot.

Where it wins

  • Unlimited signature requests on every paid plan
  • Simple per-sender pricing, recipients sign for free
  • SOC 2 Type II and ISO 27001

Where it does not

  • No contract management: no repository metadata, renewals or approvals
  • US hosting by default, EU residency on Premium
  • AES and QES only as an eID add-on on API Premium
From $25/user/mo

06 Oneflow

Nordic and European mid-market teams sending sales and HR contracts

A Nordic contract platform built around sales and HR agreements, combining a document editor, signing, AI extraction and a repository in one subscription.

Where it wins

  • EU hosted in Ireland, ISO 27001
  • Contract management and signing in one subscription
  • Native HubSpot, Salesforce and Dynamics integrations

Where it does not

  • AES and QES through an eID add-on
  • AI playbook review is a beta add-on
  • SOC 2 Type 1 only
€50 / user / month

07 SignNow

small and mid-sized teams, mainly in North America, that send a modest number of signature requests and want many users on one account

An e-signature product from airSlate, priced per account rather than per seat. It suits a team where many people need access but few requests go out, which is the opposite of per-licence pricing on Youtrust Plus and Pro.

Where it wins

  • Flat price per account with unlimited users
  • Payments from Business Premium, approval steps on Enterprise
  • Official MCP server, SOC 2 Type II

Where it does not

  • 100 signature invites per account per year on annual plans, then pay-as-you-go
  • QES, full API access and premium CRM integrations need the sales-led Site License
  • No contract management: no AI review, renewal tracking or metadata extraction
€30/month flat
Buyer guide

What to look for in a Youtrust (formerly Yousign) alternative.

Five questions decide most of these evaluations. Answer them before you book demos and the shortlist above collapses to two or three names.

The signature level you actually need.

eIDAS defines three levels. A simple electronic signature covers most commercial contracts in the EU. Advanced and qualified signatures need identity verification behind them, and some documents will not hold without one. Ask each vendor on which plan AES and QES are available and whether they are billed per signature.

What “unlimited” actually covers.

Several vendors advertise unlimited signing and mean simple signatures only. Count the qualified signatures, ID checks and bulk sends you expect in a year, and price those separately before you compare the per-seat figure.

Where the data lives and who owns the company.

Most US vendors offer EU data residency as a configuration, often from a higher tier. For regulated buyers in DACH that is not always the same answer as a European company on European infrastructure.

What happens after the signature.

This is the question that splits the list. An e-signature tool treats a completed document as the end of the process. A contract platform treats it as the start.

When Youtrust (formerly Yousign) is still the right answer.

Worth saying plainly, since we sell against it. If signing is the whole job and contracts are managed somewhere else, Youtrust is a focused European choice: it is its own eIDAS trust service provider, it hosts exclusively in France, and Plus gives unlimited simple signature requests, approvers and a native HubSpot connector from €23 per licence a month on annual billing. If you also need identity, company or bank-account verification or electronic seals from the same provider, or an AI connector for Claude, ChatGPT or Le Chat on every licence, it covers that in one account.

Why teams pick fynk

Signed is where the work starts.

In Youtrust a completed request is filed with labels and workspaces, and nothing reads it for dates or obligations. In fynk every document is read on arrival on every plan: the dates and values come back as data you can filter and report on, and the assistant answers questions across the whole repository.

  • Contracts and eIDAS signatures up to QES in one subscription, no second product
  • EU hosted by default, ISO 27001
  • AI review and metadata extraction on every plan
  • Your signed archive imported and read on arrival
Framework agreement, Nordwind Analytics Signed
  • Renewal date 31 March 2027
  • Notice period 3 months
  • Contract value €48,000 per year
  • Signature level QES

Pricing

Yousign pricing: how Youtrust's plans actually behave.

Most of the surprise in an e-signature invoice comes from a few mechanics rather than from the headline price. They are worth understanding before you compare any two quotes, including ours.

Four plans, and Plus is the realistic one.

Free covers 2 simple signature requests a month for one user. One costs €9 a month on annual billing (€108 a year) for 10 requests a month, one user and one template. Plus, at €23 per licence a month on annual billing, is the first plan with unlimited simple requests, advanced signatures by SMS code, approvers, unlimited templates and HubSpot. Pro, at €38, adds unlimited Forms, batch signing, custom branding and 10 bulk sends a month. Prices are net and assume a 12-month term; Youtrust offers plans without a term at a small monthly surcharge.

“Unlimited” means simple signatures.

The unlimited requests on Plus and Pro cover simple electronic signatures. Qualified signatures are bought on top, from €10 each in annual packs of at least 10 or €15 each singly on monthly billing, and advanced signatures with an ID check are an annual add-on. Bulk send is capped at 1 per month on Plus and 10 on Pro.

Document generation costs extra below Pro.

The templates on Plus are signing-process templates. Generating a document from a Word template needs Forms, an add-on from €10 a month on One and Plus, included in Pro.

The API and enterprise extras are priced separately.

API access is not part of the web app plans. It is sold as separate API plans priced by signature volume on request, with a 40-day free sandbox. SSO, SCIM and 10-year electronic archiving are paid annual add-ons on Pro, and teams with more than ten users are asked to contact sales.

What to ask for in writing.

Ask any vendor on your shortlist for the same three numbers: the total annual cost at your real document volume, what happens when you exceed the allowance, and what the second and third year look like after any first-year discount. Those three answers reorder most shortlists more than any feature table does.

How to move without losing your archive.

  1. Download your signed documents.

Save completed documents and their audit trails while the Youtrust account is still active, ask Youtrust how to export the full archive before you cancel, and check the count against your records.

  2. Bulk import the archive.

fynk reads each PDF and extracts parties, dates, values and terms, so the archive arrives searchable instead of as a folder dump.

  3. Rebuild templates, not documents.

Move the five templates that cover most of your volume. The long tail can follow.

  4. Run both for one month.

New contracts go to the new system, anything mid-signature finishes where it started.

Frequently asked questions.

  • Yes. Yousign renamed itself Youtrust in 2026. The product covers e-signatures at all three eIDAS levels, alongside identity and company verification and electronic seals, and it is still hosted in France.

  • Youtrust's own Free plan allows 2 simple signature requests a month for one user. Among the alternatives, fynk has a free plan for one user with unlimited documents under a fair use policy, plus a 14-day trial, and Skribble has a free pay-per-signature plan. Free tiers cap out fast, so compare the paid plan you would actually grow into.

  • Yes. Youtrust is itself an eIDAS trust service provider and offers simple, advanced and qualified signatures. QES is a paid add-on on Plus and Pro, from €10 per signature in annual packs, and is not available on Free or One.

  • Youtrust (formerly Yousign) has four web app plans, net prices on a 12-month term: Free for 2 simple signature requests a month, One at €9 a month, Plus at €23 per licence a month and Pro at €38 per licence a month. On monthly billing Plus is €30 and Pro €48. QES is extra, from €10 per signature, and the API is sold as separate plans priced on request.

  • Both cover every eIDAS level and sell QES as a paid add-on. Youtrust (formerly Yousign) is itself an eIDAS trust service provider, hosts exclusively in France and gives unlimited simple signature requests on Plus, but sells its API as separate plans. DocuSign includes a REST API on every eSignature plan and works with an envelope allowance per user per year, with overage billed.

  • There is not much public review data yet. On Capterra, where the product is still listed as Yousign On-Demand, it rated 3.8 from 24 reviews when we checked in September 2026. With a sample that small, a 14-day trial on your own documents tells you more than the score.

  • No. Youtrust does not offer contract management: there is no repository for contract metadata, no renewal tracking and no AI contract review. Its AI connector sends requests from existing templates and checks their status.
