Five questions decide most of these evaluations. Answer them before you book demos and the shortlist above collapses to two or three names.
A customer form collects details, documents and a signature, and then it is done. A contract is drafted, negotiated and approved, and then it runs for years. If you mostly send forms, you do not need a contract platform. If you close contracts, you need more than a form.
What happens after the signature.
This is the question that splits the list. A form or signature tool treats a completed document as the end of the process. A contract platform treats it as the start: terms, notice periods and values become data the system reminds you about.
The signature level you actually need.
eIDAS defines three levels. A simple electronic signature covers most commercial contracts in the EU. Advanced and qualified signatures need identity verification behind them, and some documents will not hold without one. Ask every vendor to confirm in writing which level comes with which plan.
How you are billed.
Flixcheck charges a flat price per account with allowances. Most of the alternatives above charge per user, a few by envelopes or signatures. Model your real number of users and processes, not the entry price.
When Flixcheck is still the right answer.
Worth saying plainly, since we sell against it. If the real job is collecting data, documents and simple or advanced signatures from many end customers, by SMS, WhatsApp or a website widget, for example in insurance, utilities or real estate, Flixcheck is well set up for it. If you also want hosting only in Germany and a flat price per account, it is a solid choice.
