What is Zapier?
Zapier is a tool that helps your favorite apps connect to each other and perform magical tasks using automations, without any coding required. It covers more than 7,000 tools, like Slack, Salesforce, Google Sheets, HubSpot, and Outlook, you name it.
It works this way: you choose a trigger action in Zapier for fynk or any other app, and then define what will happen automatically afterwards in a step-by-step process. Each step consists of a setup and configure tab where you can design the result you want to achieve.
In the example above, the trigger is the status “Won” in your CRM. The following actions include the creation of a template, sending it for signing, and sending confirmation emails.
Each of these triggers and the chaining events afterwards is called a Zap, which looks something like this:

Depending on your goal, the zap could have just a few steps or many more.
So, each Zap is a carefully planned domino that lets you automate a lot of things to make your life easier.
fynk + Zapier: How It Works?
With this new integration, fynk becomes part of the broader automation ecosystem. You can now connect your contract lifecycle to everything that comes before and after, lead capture, hiring, procurement, compliance, delivery, billing, and more.
Using Zapier, you can trigger actions in fynk from external tools (e.g., “Create contract when a deal closes”) or trigger external actions based on fynk events (e.g., “Send email when a contract is signed”).
The integration is powered by fynk’s secure API. With Zapier’s no-code interface, you don’t need technical resources to use it. You just create a token in fynk and place it in Zapier when connecting the apps.
What actions are actually possible when connecting fynk and Zapier?
You can set a trigger in fynk when:
- A new document is created
- A new signatory is added to the document,
- A document is signed,
- A new template is created.
The action Events in fynk include:
- Add a signatory to a document
- Creating a new document from an existing template
- Move the status of a document to the review or signing stage
- Update the dynamic fields of a particular document
- Update a party of a document
- Find the URL of the document PDF
- Find metadata values, dynamic fields, parties, and signatories.
