Why We Went for ISO 27001 in the First Place

That’s why pursuing the ISO 27001 certification wasn’t about checking a box, and to be honest, it felt less like a new goal and more like putting a seal on something we’ve always taken seriously.

ISO 27001 is the internationally recognized gold standard 🥇🎖️for information security management systems (ISMS). But you already know about ISOs, you already saw it [there and there]. So It sets strict criteria for how companies handle data security, risk management, and operational integrity.

We wanted the best of the best, so we went through the most comprehensive path there is: an organization-wide ISO 27001 certification of our Information Security Management System (ISMS), conducted by an accredited, independent auditor.

That means every part of fynk was evaluated against globally recognized security standards.

We partnered with DQS, one of Germany’s most respected certification bodies, accredited by DAkkS, the country’s gold standard for oversight (and yes, also its bureaucratic final boss 🧾🇩🇪).
